Overview


A Web Designer is responsible for creating the look, layout, and features of a website. The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming to ensure the website is functional, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires collaboration with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to produce a cohesive product that aligns with the company's brand and goals.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Design and Layout: Create visually appealing web page layouts and interfaces that meet client specifications and standards.

  3. Collaboration: Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly and with content creators to integrate text and multimedia elements.

  5. Responsive Design: Create designs that work across various devices and screen sizes.
  6. Testing and Optimization: Conduct tests to troubleshoot and improve website designs and performance.


Required Skills


  1. Graphic Design: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch.
  2. HTML/CSS: Strong understanding of HTML and CSS for designing responsive web layouts.
  3. JavaScript: Basic knowledge of JavaScript for creating interactive elements.
  4. UX/UI Principles: Knowledge of user experience and user interface design principles.
  5. Creativity: Ability to innovate and bring fresh ideas to web design projects.

Qualifications
