Senior Security Data Engineer


Overview


The Senior Security Data Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data infrastructure to support the organization's security operations. This role involves collaborating with security analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to ensure seamless data integration and analysis for enhanced security measures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.


Key Responsibilities

Qualifications


  1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on security data, and at least 2 years in a senior engineering role.
  3. Technical Skills:
  4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  5. Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  6. Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  7. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their data services.
  8. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
